That 56 is stunning ( color combo ) and the same color combo as my 62 convert my first Cadillac with AC ( optional then ) which Is on the top of my list for color combos

My dad owned a 55 convert powder blue with a white top that i drove many afternoons after high school with the top down
The car was only used on special ocassions or for Mom to run around town
Not being used a lot the car was garged and around for a good number of years
The 55 was dads third Cadillac
The 64 convert was bought brand new and his 4th Cadillac ( second convert )
Now that i think about it we always had a Cadillac available and around from 1949 until this very day
At one time 7 restored ready to go --early 60's Cadillac that were dads collection ( due to us falling in love with my 62 convert )
Talk about Cadillac Crazy Guys !!

That 56 is real fine especially in 2019
Some very serious Metal Art work
Just look at the TITS ON that BABY !
These cars were considerably fast and powerful for there time slot even with the the weight they carried as with many Cadillacs of there time
Beauty and performance so very well done

64 Recirc/Fresh Air Door Actuator replaced; FROM THE INSIDE.

Posted by Norman Silverman on February 4, 2019 at 11:21pm 8 Comments

I am happy to report that I have successfully replaced the Fresh Air/Recirc door actuator that is located on the blower box-and have done so without having to remove the blower box. I did it by taking out the glove box and attacking it from the back.  It took several days, LOTS of patience and some band-aids, but it is done. THE most difficult part -BY FAR- is to remove and then replace the screw that sits on the actuator arm, connecting it to the fresh…

Where do the flashers go in my 64 Deville Convert.  I'm thinking that's why both turn signals stopped working.

Where is the best place to purchase good quality motor mounts/trans mounts for my 1964 SDV? I see that Rock Auto has them for $8 and change, and others for $24 and change. Big difference. Is there a better place to buy them from?
