It's my first time posting a question.  I want to add seat belts front and rear to my 64 convertible. Seems like all suppliers have them in 60 or 74 inch lengths. Most passengers are of average typical size and I did the rope measure test and 60 inch belts seem the way to go. Does anyone know what the original length that was produced when new. Any and all thoughts are welcomed.

Thanks John Boening

At the top of the home page see a group of headings.  Click on the Help button.   All help topics are arranged in alphabetical order.  Scroll down to seat belts sections.  I believe you will find a lot of your questions answered there.

Thank you Gene,

I am just starting to use 63/64 and appreciate the help navigating the site. Saw lots of other info there too. Now can anyone help me rotate my picture or should I delete and repost it. Newbies, geez

John, On your profile picture you can re-crop but do not see any rotate editing available so you need to rotate it upright with software on the device it resides then reupload. Once you have it upright just click on Settings and you will see the link to upload a new profile picture.

You can flip an image (on your "My Page" only) using the advanced setting on the "My Page" tab.    Go to "My Page", and just below your profile pic, click "customize"

Then,  on the Design Page, click "Advanced" on the top left

Then, paste "#xg_themebody #xg img{transform: rotate(180deg);}" at the bottom of that window.  That will rotate your main image 180 degrees.  When you're done, it should look like this (on a windows 10 desktop):

Finally, click Publish at the bottom right, and your profile pic will be flipped (mine is now).   Note that it only flips the picture on your page, so chat thumbnails and the actual image if you click on it will render as you posted it.  nonetheless, it will show upright -part- of the time.   Like mine, for example:

So my 63 guide matic headlamps stay on low beam all the time. I have so far bypassed the system and everything works normal. I have been thru the trouble shooting in the manual but this is where the confusion begins.on my car when the power relay is powered I have low beam and when its not powered I have highbeam, this appears to be opposite what the diagnosis says should be correct. The wiring is all original and no wires have been mixed up.has anyone ever unplugged the 2 wire connector…

Having tried both the II and III I can say the multispark feature of the III offers a smoother idle . It is also easier to install .Does not require removal of the distributor

Stuck at two red (dash) lights!

I hope someone can help solve these two electrical problems that appeared one after the other.

By way of background: The car, a '64 Eldorado has very limited use. It was at a restoration shop for 15 months until last January-  that supposedly did a bunch of wiring repairs including rebuilding the gas gauge that still hasn't worked properly, and the clock that hasn't worked, and re-soldering the broken wires in the drive door. All window and seat controls appear to be…
