I have a question regarding my AC, I recently had all new ac equipment installed and when I turn the ac on it only blows from the floor not the ac vents, my mechanic is having trouble trying to figure out how to get it to blow from the vents, any ideas?
I just checked out your car and it a '63. So my post isn't going to be fully helpful. It sounds like your mode doors are not moving according to where you set your controls. This is always vacuum leak related. You may need to check all lines and door actuators for vacuum leaks. Check all one way valves for leaks also. I'm not familiar with the 63 but your system would be simpler than the 64 so you should have an easier time chasing down your leaks. The only other thing is if your modes are cable operated then one of the cables have broken loose or something on that vein. Check the holy grail (shop manual) to see where to start with vacuums. Good luck as these are much more enjoyable on the hot days with air.

I believe the starter solenoid has gone bad in my 64 DeVille. When I turn the key, often all I get is a click, then if I try a few times again the starter turns perfectly. All battery cables are on tight and the battery is good. So, I believe this problem is the solenoid. Where do I buy the right solenoid and is it necessary to remove the starter in order to swap it out? …
I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers. The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were. The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer. Part number is on the box in the photos. First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original. Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…
