Hi Fellow 1963 and 1964 Cadillac members,
I have an original 1964 Cadillac my father and mom brought me home from the hospital in (1965!) and we took it all over these great United States! It pulled our travel trailer through more than 40 states on the various vacations we took each year. Dad always kept the car in great condition and we overhauled it together in 1976. From hitching the trailer up the center of my rear bumper does have a dent in it that annoys me! I was likely the cause as a 6 or 7 year old guiding dad in as we got hitched up each morning! My uncle Dan also has a red 1964 Convertible still he owned from the same time. I guess it is in the genes!
I am looking for a center rear in good to excellent condition. This is not a show car but it is a very nice original driver. Thanks for letting me know if you have one I can buy from you. I am based in the SE USA (Atlanta area) so let me know and thanks!

I'm trying to remove the rear seatback on my 1964 deville conv. The only help on this site that I can find is the following:
The seatback, its bright stainless trim, and the speaker grille are removed as an assembly. The seat back hangs on two hooks near the top, and is retained to the body by two bolts and washers near the floor, one on the right side, one on the left.Once these fasteners are removed, lift the seat back upward and free it from the hooks
I've removed…
