This is the donor clock I picked up yesterday for $55.00. Its out of a 2001 Holden Statesman, which means 3/4 of 5/8ths of bugger all to all our USA and elsewhere friends, but this may benefit any 63/64 members in the land Down Under.

Being a quartz movement, it will be an excellent thing to use, provided my mate Shane can do it. Its a fairly compact little unit, and of course, we only really need the guts of it.

He did really well in school in biology dissecting frogs, so this should be a walk in the park.

"It’s  5 o’clock somewhere"

Incorrect Tony. It not 5 o’clock every second. Every full hour there is 5 o’clock somewhere. Some places also have time zones with 45 or 30 minutes offset which makes it more tricky. But at any given time there is more likely not 5 o’clock.

So remove the offset time zones from the equation and every hour there are 3599 seconds out of 3600 seconds that is not 5 o’clock. Now you see Tony, its very unlikely that it's 5 o’clock somewhere. At least more unlikely than likely.

But if you meant to say that a clock that is not working is correct twice in a 24 hour period, in its time zone, than you are correct. 2 out of 86400 seconds correct.

Radiator And Shrouds

Posted by Dominic Salemi on April 24, 2019 at 3:36pm 1 Comment

Hello

Anyone have a decent radiator and shrouds and hardware for a 1964 Cadillac deville. I have an alum. radiator and I'm deciding on to fix it or back to the original one. If I fix it I won't need parts.

Thanks

64 Recirc/Fresh Air Door Actuator replaced; FROM THE INSIDE.

Posted by Norman Silverman on February 4, 2019 at 11:21pm 8 Comments

I am happy to report that I have successfully replaced the Fresh Air/Recirc door actuator that is located on the blower box-and have done so without having to remove the blower box. I did it by taking out the glove box and attacking it from the back.  It took several days, LOTS of patience and some band-aids, but it is done. THE most difficult part -BY FAR- is to remove and then replace the screw that sits on the actuator arm, connecting it to the fresh…
