Do read the For Sale add —for the Blue 63 Fleetwood with the white vinyl top —on the list of our year cars that are on this site For Sale on eBay
The income and cost of living stats for 63 and the break down of the individual options cost for the year are worth the read but the other detail info presentation is interesting as well.
This guy is very thorough
I think we should have a list the options and there cost for both the 63 and 64 Cadillacs in the year they were purchased some place on the site just for perspective
The income and cost of living stats are great because they give you a very different idea of what was going on regarding costs in daily life in those years
Those cost of living facts do make the Cadillacs look on the expensive side to own in there time slot based on other costs in there years
Found the info very interesting and a Big reminder as was about 20 years old and did lived thru that time period myself
My 64 convert was $ 6,200 off the showroom floor and peanuts by today’s new car prices but the dollar had more value in those years
Our Fleetwood, was $7,550 including the cost of the options and crap, unless I buggered it up.
Convertibles will always be cheaper, as the cost of a bit of marine cloth isn't very expensive. LOL
Real cars, have a steel lid, roof lining, interior lights..... all ads up. :-)
They also have the steering wheel on the left (correct) side. At least you got that part right (correct).
Ha ha ha ha.... I do get the odd thing correct now and again. (Ander's might disagree)
