I looked into getting a new rubber boot for the drivers side door jamb wires.  It will cost around 225.00 each. These are going to look as close to the original part as possible, but I see the cost as a problem. Not many people want to spend that.

This would fit the  63/64.

Way to much money for that item i do believe

Enjoy

Russ

Have you checked on just having the "tit" rivets made for the boots.  I have ordered several different glove box bumpers but none of them have the groove thickness to match the double rubber thickness,  I would think that there might be a market for just a set of new rubber rivets.  I always thought that the "tits" were molded into the bottom half of the boot,  They actually just sew both halves together.

Just a thought,

I did some looking and found a good piece to use. Only problem is I have to order 4000

Wow, that's a bunch,  Do you remember what the part and part number was that you found?

3D printing will most likely save our cars.

I did clean mine front pair and I want to find rear ones.

Rear ones are very  bad.

I have very good sedan rears for $20 each or $35 for a LH and RH set. Shipping would be $7 to US destinations. If interested shoot me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com

Any update on this? Ive been debating trying to make my own.

The project is dead due to the costs involved.

WTB power steering pump pulley

My power steering belt pulley sheered the woodruff key off the pump shaft and is pretty wrecked. Does anybody have a pulley for sale? Or the whole pump and pulley together?

Radiator And Shrouds

Posted by Dominic Salemi on April 24, 2019 at 3:36pm 1 Comment

Hello

Anyone have a decent radiator and shrouds and hardware for a 1964 Cadillac deville. I have an alum. radiator and I'm deciding on to fix it or back to the original one. If I fix it I won't need parts.

Thanks

64 Recirc/Fresh Air Door Actuator replaced; FROM THE INSIDE.

Posted by Norman Silverman on February 4, 2019 at 11:21pm 8 Comments

I am happy to report that I have successfully replaced the Fresh Air/Recirc door actuator that is located on the blower box-and have done so without having to remove the blower box. I did it by taking out the glove box and attacking it from the back.  It took several days, LOTS of patience and some band-aids, but it is done. THE most difficult part -BY FAR- is to remove and then replace the screw that sits on the actuator arm, connecting it to the fresh…
