Did the break in run on the new 63 390 I had in the garage.  A new heartbeat will soon sound off in a lucky 63.

Hey Russ, it may just be me,... i am completely inept when it comes to all this it crap, but I cant get the videos to play. They are just black screens, no prompts or icons or anything. What am I doing wrong Bud?
From what I can come up with it appears only people you are friends with on FB can see them. I sent you a FR

Hi Jack,

It's been awhile. I'm in the Houston area going to San Marcos for the CLC Grand National. Would be great to meet you and the convertible. Don't now if it's possible to set up a meet this Sunday.

OK Jason, how do you add a video

Post to YouTube, select share and copy and paste the embed code here.
Can anyone tell me how you got the videos to play? Now I can't even see the links to click on. I have no clue what i'm doing. Lol

That would make two of us Jack.

Thanks for the info Jason, the link has been fixed to view the video's.

Turns out that the original links were to my Facebook group "63 64 Cadillac parts and info". Only members could see the video.   Why not check it out and join?  Be sure to answer the questions to get approved for membership. It weeds out the spambots.

Love the frame break in stand! Might have to set me one up like that! Engine looks and sounds nice and smooth. This will make some old Caddy very happy!!

ps. If you are on a pc or on a mobile device in desktop view, you can click the little media icon in the edit tool bar above, then copy and paste the embed code from YouTube. To get the embed code from YT, click share then embed, and copy the highlighted embed code. Here  are your 2 videos embedded:

The run stand aint purdy, but it gets the job done.   A parts car donated the front clip. Next time I will cut more off to make the stand longer and higher off the ground.

Engine sound quiet and smoooth

love you very creative engine stand

what are you using for mufflers in the video as the engine is so quiet and I can see nothing

Starter Solenoid replacement-how difficult? Where to buy?

Posted by Norman Silverman on August 20, 2019 at 8:24pm 8 Comments

Hello All.

I believe the starter solenoid has gone bad in my 64 DeVille. When I turn the key, often all I get is a click, then if I try a few times again the starter turns perfectly. All battery cables are on tight and the battery is good. So, I believe this problem is the solenoid. Where do I buy the right solenoid and is it necessary to remove the starter in order to swap it out? …

Upper A Arm Rubber Bumpers

Posted by Gene McIlroy on August 12, 2019 at 1:30pm 3 Comments

I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers.  The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were.  The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer.  Part number is on the box in the photos.  First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original.  Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…
