Had to replace the tires on my Buick. They gave up after 33 years. Still got good thread but the air started to leak out from the side (cracks).
Had the shop refit and balance with new nice rubbers. White wall off course. Thing is, these still has some blue "paint" covering the white. Maybe a high pressure water wash will take care of it? Don't wanna do anything wrong and I forgot to ask the tire shop.
Soap and water will remove it easy. The shop should have done it for you.
Just a coating to keep the white walls white when the tyres are stacked in storage.
33 year old tyres..... geez you're a tight arse. How many pinch bars you break trying to get ya wallet open?
