Hey Jason,

It would seem, the photo posting bit could do with a tickle on the bottom to get some action happening. I understand, you're probably still making like a friggin gopher in one of your various tunnels under the house.but next time ya come out for sanger and coffee, can you have a squizz at the photo upload thingy please.

Works good. Most likely the glitch is behind the keyboard...

I'm able to post pictures under a new forum discussion, as a reply to myself or replying to someone else but will open a ticket with Ning.com nonetheless.

Use

Tony and I were having issues opening the ningy piccie thingy.

It would show a tiny bit and the rest in green on my screen.

This is how I just posted pictures... such as the one below. Is this still an issue?

Just to add I assume the picture "Image" icon that Anders pointed to is the " ningy piccie thingy" you are referring to?

Ning. com support is asking me to provide examples and I cannot since I cannot get the picture inserts to not work. I would suggest anyone having issues open a new ticket with Ning.com by clicking on the Contact Ning.com For Direct Support link at the top of our Help page. Just click the link and select Create a New Ticket from the Ning support window.

Oh Shit, the pictures seem fine now.

Now its making me look like a dufus. (Shut up Anders) :-) LOL.

Now?

Hmm, Kevin. "Now" would exclude the past. You need to reword that sentence. Like "Now its making me look even more like a dufus".  ;-)

NOW I shut up!

Is there a separate Starter Relay, or does the Solenoid serve that purpose?

Posted by Norman Silverman on August 30, 2019 at 5:57pm 7 Comments

Hello All.

I will be replacing the starter solenoid tomorrow (actually my mechanic will do the work, I'll just supervise). In checking the FSM electrical schematic and chapter verbiage, I don't see anything that looks like (or is referred to as) a starter Relay. It seems the Starter Solenoid serves the function and there's no separate relay. Right or Wrong?

If wrong, where…

Starter Solenoid replacement-how difficult? Where to buy?

Posted by Norman Silverman on August 20, 2019 at 8:24pm 8 Comments

Hello All.

I believe the starter solenoid has gone bad in my 64 DeVille. When I turn the key, often all I get is a click, then if I try a few times again the starter turns perfectly. All battery cables are on tight and the battery is good. So, I believe this problem is the solenoid. Where do I buy the right solenoid and is it necessary to remove the starter in order to swap it out? …

Can anyone shed some light on how to position the complete drive shaft in the correct position? I want to make sure my drive shaft is installed properly.

Thanks
