Hello folks,

once the rain stops in my city I'm planning to install a new radiator.
The old one is really messy inside.

I searched on supplier sites but I'm not sure which one to buy:

Copper oder aluminum, transmission cooler extern or integrated etc...

Recommendations for me?

Thanks a lot,
Sammy

You need the trans cooler as part of the rad ( at its bottom ) as that is what cools the trans fluid in our cars

You need to be aware of the hose inlet and exit as they are in  different locations  for different years

You may have to do some adapting of the fittings for the trans fluid lines that attach to the new trans cooler on the bottom of the new  rad as some have had to do on this site

Most who replace the rad seem to go with the aluminum but stock was copper or brass ( not sure myself )

Cost may have something to do with that choice

I still have my stock rad in my car after 56 years that speaks for the stock rads design quality but the car has always been maintained for sheer love of the car that is only used on great weather days for the last 40 years

That should help you make your choice

Enjoy

I heard aux coolers with active fan are better to use than the ones that are part of the rad.
Anyone has experience with this?

Sammy

No experience with that trans cooling thing

Are the front and rear seat frames the same for 63/64 Coupes and Convertibles because Original parts group  makes reproduction seat covers for 1963 only and and i prefer the 1963 seat pattern so with that being said does anyone have information regarding this thanks.
