Does anyone have a picture of the spring that pulls the mode door when no vacuum is applied to the mode vacuum power unit?

It just connects to the lever and into the slot by your new seal.

Thats what I thought. Thanks.

Oh yeah, there we go. I was needing to find a similar replacement and that helps a lot. Thanks.

I've got plenty of nice VG original mode door springs for $10 + s/h. Shoot me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com if you want VG used.

Just get a new spring for a few bucks at a hardware store. All that spring does is close the door when vacuum is released.

Take a measurement with the door closed, and find a soft spring that is a few inches shorter than the measurement.

Here are the measurements of the spring and pictures of 1 of several I have ready to ship:
- coil diameter: 3/8"
- coil section length: 2 13/16"
- overall length: 4 5/32"
