I hope someone can help me out here. Just changed the transmission pan gasket on my 1964 coupe with the turbo hydramatic trans and I am looking for the o ring or seal that goes where the filler tube connects to the pan. I contacted fatsco transmission and they were no help.I was wondering if any one has a solution. I have the old one but it is very hard and brittle and I really don't want to reuse it. any help would be appreciated.
Bring it to a local auto store to see if they have the same size rubber O ring
That is the trans kit for the hydomatic trans —not the turbo Hydromatic ( Turbo 400 trans is another name for the turbo unite )
this is what i need if i have a 63 then correct?
All 63's have a Hydramatic. It has a square shaped pan and has PNDLR shift pattern.
1964 Series 62, Series 75's and Commercial Chassis also has the Hydramatric.
1964 deVilles and Fleetwoods have the Turbo Hydramatic with the very irregular pan shape and PRNDL shift pattern. Make sure you guys are ordering parts for the correct transmission.
