Toubleshooting Window Switch

I recently purchased a new reproduced harness connector for my window switch. I pulled to old connector apart and cleaned the contacts to the switch wires and window switches while I had it out. Before I replaced it, my passenger window would go down but not up from the master switch. After replacing it, my passenger window didn't work at all from the drivers side and the rear window would only go down and not back up from the master switch. It was late so I buttoned everything up to put away…See More

Modernized Stock Radio

Posted on September 13, 2017 at 5:18pm 5 Comments

I've been waiting a long time for somebody to make this so I'm really excited to share it. I've seen people run Aux to the original radio, but this goes way beyond that. You can keep the looks of the stock radio, but with modern amenities like Bluetooth, Aux, and outputs for Amps and Subs. I posted the website and Youtube link to a Cadillac radio below. …

Craigslist Find

1964 Eldo just popped up on craigslist here in Maryland. The price is pretty damn reasonable. The car looks like it could use a bit of a freshening up, but not bad for the price. Wish I had the money. Link here  > 1964 Eldorado

Hi Chris my name is Joe. I was looking in the help topics under A/C stuff & came across your AC problem & was wondering if you got it figured out ?

OK so I figured it out the lens come out easy just stuck a bit. I thought it was a burned out bulb but its not. The right side all work but the left side does not blink. Very low light from the turn signal but the corner light on the fender just stays on. Where else should I look?

Thanks

Hi Christopher, If you still need an in-car sensor grill you were at the top of my 'needs list' and have a nice one from the last parts car waiting for you. Check your emails. Jason.

where do I find a new and better motor?

Posted by john kilbourne on May 24, 2018 at 11:43am 11 Comments

My '64 convert is getting better, but the engine remains questionable. Starts and runs well enough, powerful, but I think I hear a main bearing banging, the balance is not great and I'd like to upgrade to fuel injection if I can.

Are there dependable remans available of good quality? Are new crate engines available? Will more advanced engines from newer years fit?

Also, please, the diff ratio is quite high, lots of RPMs compared to today's cars. Are there diffs with lower…
