So I won't mention what vehicle this master cylinder is on and I think I know my answer but it always good to get a second opinion. Similar to performing a full frontal lobotomy on yourself. Get a…Continue
I've got a traveller's fuel tank that the original owner had installed to use on long vacation trips. He disconnected it at some point because of carb problems. I was looking to see if it could be…Continue

I thought I'd start a post that lists vintage aftermarket or dealer installed accessories, that are cool or wierd, that we have found on our collector cars. Doesn't matter if they are Cadillac or not…Continue

"Did some cars come without that tube? My car has hoses routed to the inner fender with a clip that secures both. I thought someone just threw out the pipe and did it that way but the clamp used looks to be factory and some add on part."
"It was an option for the passenger mirror. Not a lot of them got it. Opgi sells them new though. Try spinning you side mirror down and in not up and out. If you look at dealer pictures that's how its installed. Jason pointed that out to me and…"

I removed both 7 nipple vacuum valves and called my buddy who owns a machine shop. Tomorrow we'll re-surface the valve faces and then I'll reinstall them. HOWEVER, the one that comes out easily and comes apart with no rivet is on the Power module side. It installs on one side with a small bolt, and on the other it is held on by a clip, WHICH IS MISSING ON MY CAR. I am going to assume it is the same clip that is used on the Control Module side. Anybody got one? Happy…
