"As noted the 1961 to 1963 Long Trumpet Eldorado horn is a 947 horn, not a 946 horn. I don't seem to have recorded anything but if memory serves 946 may be the Oldsmobile offering of a very similar horn. "
"It would make an excellent addition to any 1963/64 Cadillac. I was only pointing out additional information about the original horns. If I had not lucked up and found my 896 I would probably be looking seriously at this horn! "
"Everything Jason said is correct. I used the horn in my 62 and it looked good for car shows. I now have part number correct horn for my 62. I did not advertise it for the 61-64 caddy’s because it’s not part number correct. It does…"
"Just to note, this looks similar to the horn used in 1963 and 1964, but there were different tone horns (and part #'s) used in 1963 and 1964, so this horn is obviously not an exact original replacement for the full year range stated. It is a…"
This is a very hard to find part. The number is 5954511. I have not seen one on eBay for a year. It is NOT a reproduction! It has 50+ years of use. If you are restoring a car include this original Cadillac Mirror. Look closes at all photos and ask for more if need. The glass mirror has scratches. Chrome missing on base. Stem has pits. Shine mirror back with tiny rock dent. Only buy this mirror if you are going to restore it or you understand the condition! I was told its off a 64.…

I believe the starter solenoid has gone bad in my 64 DeVille. When I turn the key, often all I get is a click, then if I try a few times again the starter turns perfectly. All battery cables are on tight and the battery is good. So, I believe this problem is the solenoid. Where do I buy the right solenoid and is it necessary to remove the starter in order to swap it out? …
I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers. The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were. The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer. Part number is on the box in the photos. First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original. Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…
