'64 Cadillac speedometer cable - transmission to cruise control box

Hi folks - I'm new to this forum, but have owned my '64 convertible since 1993.  I recently replaced the speedo gear and seal in the transmission due to fluid leak, and noticed that the end of the cable had snapped off in the gear.  I can't seem to find a new replacement cable.  I ordered a 63" cable from a vendor on Ebay, but when received, it does not have the unique "keyed" end for the cruise control end that Jason had mentioned in a previous thread.  Has anyone encounter this problem?  Is…See More

Dash removal

Hello everyone,

On a 63 CDV, if a guy wanted to remove the entire dash to get all the metal painted, and do some other things behind there, how would he go about doing that?  I checked here and the shop manual, but can't find a complete guide.

As always, and help or direction is appreciated.  Thanks!
