"I put that orange exhaust sealant onto the manifolds to insure no exhaust leaks from the head with new gaskets that's alot of prep work to redo if I pull the manifold off..."

"Doing all this to avoid pull the manifolds off, from the looks of it the passenger side manifold bolts dont look like they would clear? Due to the frame the drivers side would clear? "

"Why not just remove the exh manifold and have a machine shop drill/tap the original hole.  You do nti need to pull the engine to get the exh manifold off."

"Just an theory.... this would bypass the threaded bolt that holds the bottom of the alternator to the bracket to the manifold..... "

"Call me crazy but this might just work my plan is to cut the end of the alternator where the black line and X is marked to give me enough room for a bolt head to sit and run it through the alternator through the bracket and screw a nut at the end…"

So in the beginning of me doing this project me and my buddie where breaking lose the exhaust manifold bolts from the heads and in the process slipped and broke off this bracket bolt that goes to the alternator my question is what's the best way to go with this I can't weld a bolt to it I tried chiseling it but as you can see from the pictures didnt help I cant drill it due to a stupid angle and having to lean over the bay I just installed this engine back into the bay and would hate to pull it…See More

"The throttle return springs attaches to the throttle rod where it goes through the carb throttle plate on the front; and attaches to a bracket that is attached to rear intake bolt. Any spring with the correct tension will work. See picture below of…"

Original 64 Color sanded and buffed out

I finally got the car back from the body shop, where they color sanded and polished it out. I am literally blown away by the result! Now, it looks great from 2 feet but if you look REALLY CLOSE you can see that the paint is not as glossy as it should be, but Sothe end result is much better than what I started with. The interior is still original.
