"james just bought kit from opg made by cpp in my 63 with stock tires (wheels).make sure you don't buy big brakes kit.all went well on installation.got sick of front brakes pulling and trying to adjust.good luck "

Introduction

I'd just like to say hello to everyone, and thanks for letting me join such an awesome forum. I've just purchased a 1964 Deville convertible. I've owned many many classic Cadillacs over the years but this is my first 64, I'm sure I'm going to really enjoy it, we're in the process of doing a few upgrades but can't wait to get it out on the road. But the conversion kit was from Classic Performance Products for $745, about half what I've seen elsewhere, and after some grief from a substandard mechanic who wanted to put spacers in, I had it done elsewhere with my stock wheels and no issues at all. Does not rub, does not scrape, stops much faster and with a feeling of certainty about it. A great upgrade.

My 1964 Cadillac electrical system is running around 17 volt which is to high,the alternator, battery and the voltage regulator was replaced but the voltage is still to high, could it be the pig tail that plugs into the voltage regulator.
