64 DeVille Convertible For Sale Project Car

1964 Cadillac DeVille Convertible -Project CarAll new metal floors, trunk, inner and outer rocker panels - body was raised up from chassis, undercarriage was media blasted and painted - body reattached with new body mounts. Car was running - with 390 and slim jim trany. Engine and tranny from 1963 deville. Also included is a turbo 400 tranny and top half of 429 Have all seats and door panels (need to be reupholstered) and have all moldings. Have all parts can be completed or used for parts.…See More

Bad Guage?

So I am troubleshooting my fuel gauge issue. I bought a new sender and tested it. It  it goes from 1-ohm (empty) to 35-ohm (full). When I test it (outside the tank), when the float is in the up (full) position it only moves the gauge to about 1/2 full. When at the bottom (empty) position the gauge shows empty. This is the same issue I have when I fill and then use the gas in the tank - the gauge never reads ore than half full. Based on what I've read on this thread it would seem like the…
