"Most, if not all replacement fuel filter elements come with the rubber seal as well. I would get one of those and replace the element at the same time.  It's a good idea to replace the seal each time the filter is changed."

Fuel filter gasket

Hello, fellow cadillac enthusiasts. I’ve looked around through the discussions, but can’t find what I’m looking for. I’m having trouble with my fuel filter gasket on my a/c equipped 64 Deville. Grandpa’s Cadillac is in dire need of one. I’ve tried twice to make one out of fuel resistant gasket material. The first leaked quit a bit, the second not as much, but it still leaked.
