"There is a separate park brake (part group 4.591, pt # 1479855) that covers: All 1960 body styles, 1961 to 1964 75 series and CC, and 1965 75 series. I should have one of these "75 Series EM/Park Brakes if anyone needs one.  "

Emergency Brake pedal interchange

Hi all,Just about to get started working on my 64 deville convertible over a year after the flatbed shoved it in my garage. First thing on my list is to replace the e-brake pedal assembly which the last owner broke when they forced the manual release. So I have 2 questions actually. First, does anyone know which years are compatible with the 64? I think the 63 is different because of the oriention of the vacuum release diaphragm but there is a 66 on ebay that looks pretty close. Second…See More

I recently took my car to a “Cadillac” “Specialist here in Los angles CA.

After leaving my car to diagnose my steering column for not shifting properly. I get this txt from the shop owner. Mind you I just got the car and wanted to at least shift from the column without having to shift for the engine bay. Also wanted to get a price on dash lights to work. Basically I’m trying to feel out if he’s putting gravy on the labor.

Well I recently found a guy here locally, who’s got about 8-9 63/64 Cadillacs convertible and hardtop coupes. I also recently found a 64 convertible Eldorado. I'll have the radiator back from the shop on Monday, and will reinstall it then.

Still having…

The front lower ends are gone but what's there looks to be in decent condition and a fair price in today's market. I have no connection, just passing it along in case it might work for someone.
