Tony, I think they have the 63/64's covered nicely with the Series 62 Sedan. With all the fantastic models and body styles from 1902 to present, I am just glad we have "one of ours" in the museum.  I'm guessing if you cover all model years and body styles are you looking at a potential set of well over 1000 model year/body style combinations to choose from. We have 23 just from 1963 and 1964, not counting the commercial chassis cars.

Jason

If and when the time should ever come for you and a Dino ??

Some time after you win your first Grand National Event !

I would love to see your CDV —-in this museum —as one of the very best CDV’s in existence —anyplace with winning GN credentials

Might be the ultimate end ( and  a new  beginning ) of  the Love of the  1963 1964 CDV lifetime quest for excellence that you have dedicated your life’s business to

Kind of the icing on the cake for a lifetime of  64 CDV enjoyment passion and business

Just Saying ! !

Enjoy

Since only certain body styles received the new for 1964 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, the advertisement should have simply added the comment "on certain body styles." Otherwise it is fine.

As far as body styles on display, I am absolutely thrilled they have a Series 62 Sedan. Their survivor rates are much, much lower than the more popular convertibles and Eldorados, and it is great to have one in nice condition on display like this one.  With only a dozen cars spanning a century of Cadillacs, it is great to have any 1963/64 Cadillac on display at all, but having a Series 62 Sedan will be something most will not get to see every day. I believe it was the 2017 Grand National where there were like 8 1963/64 Cadillacs, and 7 were 1964 convertibles.  I love a convertible (and a coupe, and a 60 Special) as much as anyone else, but lets give it up for those Series 62 Sedans! This looks like  fine example!

The sedan does not have the turbo trans so the white poster instructions describing the car is misleading and incorrect for that model

I would like to see other models like the Eldo and Fleetwood representing our years on the floor

I have a soft spot for the  Look of the early 50’s Cadillac CDV having spent a lot of time in two of them growing up when I was 8-10 years old

A moving experience to see the early 50’s Cadillacs on display for me

Enjoy

Hope you don't mind but I spread the picture links out so they are easier to distinguish and click on. I have always been glad they have our Chapter represented with the 1964 Series 62 Sedan. Here's your picture of it:

1963 Eldorado convertible boot

Posted by Les Eastling on February 27, 2020 at 10:33am 1 Comment

I need a used convertible boot for a 63 Cadillac convertible - condition or color is not an issue since it will be used as a pattern for making a new one. One from either a 62 series convertible or an Eldorado would work. I know I am searching for hen's teeth here... but you never know unless you ask!
