"The return line is generic power steering return line hose.  Cut to fit and use any common clamp."

"What type of puller did you use?  Pitman arm puller or a gear puller with 2 claws?  Did you need to first use a fork to gain enough space to fit in between the idler arm and center link before using the puller?"

Idler Arm Removal

Searching the forum and the web on removing an idler arm on a 64 Cad.  Since the idler arm doesn’t give enough space to use a puller, a tie rod end fork is used.  Wouldn’t this damage the center link?  Seeing if anyone had any other methods. Thanks!See More

Bad Guage?

So I am troubleshooting my fuel gauge issue. I bought a new sender and tested it. It  it goes from 1-ohm (empty) to 35-ohm (full). When I test it (outside the tank), when the float is in the up (full) position it only moves the gauge to about 1/2 full. When at the bottom (empty) position the gauge shows empty. This is the same issue I have when I fill and then use the gas in the tank - the gauge never reads ore than half full. Based on what I've read on this thread it would seem like the…
