As for the mufflers I will try to get underneath to get some shots, the way the mounting points for the lift were it covered them up (apparently really well). I can not state any difference in the performance, the motor has just been rebuilt, put on a 650CFM Edelbrock, electronic ignition and the trans has been rebuilt too, so I am not able to make any type of comparison or if there was any performance increase, from what Tony said I would tend to lean that there is.
Thank you for the compliments, it has been a huge labor of love, I really appreciate people understanding this kind of undertaking (this is not Overhaulin :) ). If you can go onto my pictures you can see the Cadi with the frame off and just the body on jack stands, I took pictures of the bottom of the body and the frame going back on.
I really like the exhaust, especially when i get on it, it definitely has that throaty hot rod sound.
Thank you again everyone.
Just to add to what Tony was saying, I had duals on my car but like your design better... and pinched your pictures for future safe keeping. LOL. I had duals, with flowmasters, which made the car have a distinctive loud sound, especially when I got on the throttle. My hot-rod heart really enjoyed hearing that 429! With my 64 Coupe DeVille I have gradually dialed back non-factory items and have been restoring to items that would have been correct for a 1964 Coupe DeVille. It definitely wasn't any dissatisfaction with the duals, but where I wanted to take this car. I still have some performance items (e.g. pertronix, and edelbrock) but if you pop the hood these are hidden and has the "appearance" of a factory 64 CDV.
With that said, I would love a mild customer 63 convertible, and perhaps one day I will be pulling up your dual exhaust pictures and doing something similar. I really can express enough how great your undercarriage looks. I know that is a lot of time and effort (and probably money). Most of us car guys can appreciate any part of a car this clean regardless if the car is an unrestored original, restored to original, or modified, or fully custom.
I now see they exit out the side... very neat.
Very nice. Can you show how and where they come out the back. ps.. fantastic undercarriage. Wow!
Not bad it is louder than the stock, but it does have a nice rumble now and when cruising it is not bad at all. You can hold a conversation and not have to yell, I am very pleased with it. When you get on it it is some throat to it.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
