They didny supply many pictures,  i like the pictures.

Anytime we sell something, I always keep the blurb to a minimum and use lots of quality photos..... I let the pictures sell the sizzle.

Photos sell the car. We can all write a great narrative about the vehicle but a picture is worth a thousands words as they say.

My idea of like new and the buyers may be completely different, generally the photo doesn't lie though.

If I lived near there and had the spare cash. Those  40's ,50's Caddies are  very impressive.

I own a '57 series 62 coupe and LOVE IT!  Best car I have ever owned, rides like a cloud and gets nearly 20 mpg.

My '64 series 62 coupe is a great every day driver but for Sundays, holidays and summer cruising, nothing beats the '57!

A 1972 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is a good substitut for any Cadillac when going to a wedding, funeral or a nice Sunday drive.

The Rolls-Royce is shorter and narrower than a Cadillac. But weighs more. Seating is a lot more comfortable. Same size engine but output is not stated. Its enough! And when at a red light I can move away from most cars. At the price of some rubber and gasoline. Actually a lot of gasoline. :-)

If I had to choose? The Cadillac every day. Don't know why as the Rolls is a greater car in all aspects. But for some weird reason I have more feelings for a Cadillac.

Selling both and buying a Rolls-Royce Convertible? That would actually not be a bad idea. Selling all my cars and buy a Cadillac Ciel? Yes, yes and yes!!!

Before I gave working as a mechanic the flick in 1988, I specialized in Rolls Royce and some other upmarket brands.

I've worked on a few rollers the same model as yours Anders.

Montana is the state I like the most. Been to most actually. Hawaii and Alaska are still to do.

Bozeman is my kind of town. Would love to live there and once a year when I look into Zillow, Bozeman and the surroundings are always looked at.

Montana is lovely, it is known as "big sky" country and has mountains, rivers and very few people.  I think the cows actually outnumber the people.  Yippe Kai Yay cowpolk!

Nothing wrong with Marion Indiana either.

Its highly likely, we 'll go through your town in a few months after visiting Clovis in Canada.

Birthplace of the late, great James Dean and two HUGE car shows here in late September. Marion is not the center of the universe but I've been happy here for the last 13 years.

I'm over the warm climate... I mean, really over it.

Here, last year, winter fell on a Wednesday..... first time ever, normally its over a Friday and a Saturday.

I'd like a place where we would get snow for a month or three.

BUT, getting the nod to move to the USA will be the big question mark.

But hey, I've decided, if we can't live there, we'll just holiday there every second year. That gives you guy a chance to have a "Campbell Free Year" before we return.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

'63 Eldorado trumpet horn + 2 standard horns restoration

Posted by Les Eastling on November 15, 2023 at 10:34am 1 Comment

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.

There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
