got house built i have been slaving over for last 5 months,, now have time to work on the 63.
I just ordered some rubber parts for window rail, rear window pillar, and the window sweeps..in and out,
are there any other additional pieces i need to order, like clips or the like. and is there any particular method to use or will the manual explain the removal process.
Sincerely

If you are removing the door glass, just take the 2 screws out that hold the roller bar to the window frame. The glass and frame will lift right up once you take the 2 screws out and remove the roller bar from the frame.
I was alos referring to the rubber strip that attached to the top, were the top o the window seals against the body, and the front of the door frame fits agains the front window pillar..
are those pulled out and then reapplied with an adhesive or are there screws on pins or clips on the underside that have to be removed and replaced...
The top roof line seal is held in place by the lips of the trim. I have used adhesive before. First time you install it, don't use adhesive, so you cab check the fit.
ok, thanks
i ordered the felts, etc from rtrw, and i just got through reading a long string on the suspension and rtrw and steeled etc,, was all that about the parts being inferior or one being the middle man for the other for suspension parts or does it apply to all there parts,,,,,, just curious as when i orders, i never got a response from rtrw, so i checked on the order and they said all th parts had to be ordered,,

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
