 cellation\r\nDear CLC Members:\r\nWell, the COVID-19 crisis has comple
 tely upended our plans. This is the message I did not want to have to 
 send, and you did not want to receive.\r\nThe Club has reluctantly dec
 ided to cancel our 2020 Grand National meet we planned to hold in Kans
 as City in June.\r\nGiven all of the issues and uncertainty surroundin
 g the impact of the COVID-19 virus, and the demographics of our Club, 
 we felt we had no choice. The local county where the meet was to be he
 ld, had already cancelled all events exceeding 10 people currently end
 ing only two weeks before our event. The State of Kansas has cancelled
  school until the end of August. It wasn't looking good for our being 
 able to proceed as planned. We were already receiving requests to canc
 el registrations, and the number was beginning to grow. As of today, I
  understand some of you are in areas that are currently minimally impa
 cted by the virus crisis. However, many of us are, and some are in are
 as that are unfortunately, severely impacted now; and, your situation 
 may change between now and June 9th.\r\nGiven the Club's potential lia
 bility under the event contracts, the potential for member disillusion
 ment by our holding a less than stellar, poorly attended event, and th
 e most important, the potential health risk to our members, I determin
 ed cancellation was warranted.\r\nThis is not what we planned, and not
  what we wanted to do. But, it is a necessity given the world we curre
 ntly live in. Hopefully, this pandemic will subside soon and we can al
 l safely get back to our lives, and automotive pursuits.\r\nWe’ll be
  back next July in Albuquerque. It’s going to be a great event, hope

 ent\r\n HOW DO YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK?\r\nEvent Registration Refunds:
 \r\nFirst, and most important, DO NOT CALL THE REGISTRAR about refun
 ds!\r\nThe 2020 Kansas City Grand National registration refund process
  will begin very soon. We will verify member information and audit the
  registration to assure the accuracy of the amount of the refund due t
 o you.\r\nFor those of you who charged your registration, we will issu
 e credits to the original card used to secure your registration. You s
 hould see a credit appear on your card’s statement per your bank’s
  policies. If your card is unable to accept a credit transaction, or i
 f it is rejected by your banking institution, a check will then be sen
 t to you by mail.\r\nIf you paid by check, you will receive a refund c
 heck by mail.\r\nIf you paid by card and by check because of an automo
 bile registration, you will receive both types of refunds. Our goal is
  to return everyone’s registration fees as soon as we are able.\r\nP
 lease allow us time to complete this process in a timely manner. We es
 timate everyone should have received their refund by April 15th. It is
  our hope to be concluded before that date, and we will do our best to
  accomplish that task.\r\n HOTEL RESERVATION CANCELLATION AND DEPOSIT
