CLC President Ronnie Hux fell and broke his shoulder a couple of weeks before our Winter Board Meeting in Dallas - Forth Worth so I had to do double duty covering for him including running our Board Meeting yesterday. Driving the 2013 Escalade EXT, I left NC Jan 21, delivered a grill in SC then made my way to my uncles in Orange Texas (just 4 miles into the state), then on to the WBM on Jan 24.
Had a great time visiting the GM Arlington Assembly Plant that makes all the big SUV's including Escalades and Escalades V's for Cadillac, an immaculate car collection owned Sam Pack who has dealerships in the area, and dinner at Billy Bob's Texas saloon and restaurant .... the biggest in TX. I also toured the Frontiers of Flight Air Museum by Dallas' Love Field, and other events with the CLC members, including a few Chapter members. I will share a lot more later.

Below is a picture of Chapter Member Bob Schles who we just featured with is 64 Eldorado a few months back. He also servers as VP and Editor of the Valley Forge region. In this picture he is posting with a 2024 Escalade V at the Arlington Assembly Plant.

16 New Chapter Members in Less than Two Months!tag:6364cadillac.ning.com,2024-01-07:6543066:Topic:3372532024-01-07T01:41:46.397ZJason Edgehttps://6364cadillac.ning.com/profile/jasonedge

I'm at the newsletter section where I add the new Chapter Members since the last newsletter and noticed we have had 16 members join since Mid November! I think that is a record! I normally don't do this but here is a copy and paste showing our recent joins from around the world. A couple of these include "rejoins" and welcome them back to the Chapter! Some of this has been from the push to take the website to a Chapter Members site, so it was not completely unexpected.

hello chapter members. I have reached a point where I am at a dead end with my brake troubles. we have a 63 coupe de ville, originally with a bendix unit which i replaced with a delco unit probably 22 years ago. Then 2 years ago that went bad and i located a rebuildable bendix unit and sent it to white post restoration for a rebuild, finally installed it this past june only to find the master had a defective seal and resent it back for repair, got it back and put it. during the initial install i made sure both pushrod to master and threaded linkage from booster to brake pedal were same. bled master on bench before install, bled lines at master, even bled rear wheel cylinders, replaced left because wouldn't bleed and still yet did road test only to have to apply excessive pressure to pedal, like there is no power brakes, did i overlook something? could the booster rebuild be defective, the pedal seems awefully hard to push unlike the with the original bendix or other delco that was in for many years, you could hear and fell the vacuum when stepping on the pedal. Can anyone offer a solution. I'm considering sending the delco for a rebuild and reinstalling it.
New Chapter Store Merchandise, Web Name, and Direct Link in Website Header!tag:6364cadillac.ning.com,2022-12-01:6543066:Topic:2949302022-12-01T01:24:51.431ZJason Edgehttps://6364cadillac.ning.com/profile/jasonedge
