Looking for this vacuum fitting on a 1964. It comes off the back of the carter carburetor. Large port goes to the brake booster and the small port goes to the transmission. Anyone have one ?
I have a good piece, send me an email please; email@example.com I will need your zip code for a shipping quote.
Use the white plumbers tape on the threads of the vacuum fitting so you can get it tight —-while having it in the correct location to be adding your other two vacuum connections correctly
Clamp and seal all carb vacuum lines as no air leaks are acceptable and will cause the intake manifold to run a lean fuel mixture if outside air gets into the intake manifold at any time
The vacuum valve is aluminum —and requires extra care not to damage or cross thread that fitting or any aluminum fitting as the metal is very soft and easy to damage
Handle with Care ! ! ( as in -Handle Me With Care— by George Harrison on the Traveling Willberries album )
Working with aluminum - has a bit of a learning curve associated with it
