1964 DeVille front lower bumper end (bucket) passenger side

Hey all ,

Looking for a lower front bumper end for the passenger side of my 64 DeVille. It has taken a while but I now have everything except that piece.. it does not have to be new chrome or even have nice old chrome. Just need it not rusted and rotted out.. any help would be great,. Thanks

One of a few items that has been a bit difficult to be finding the last few years

Been a while since we have seen any  for sale on this site or anyplace else

Just a heads up on that

Good  luck  in your searching

Enjoy

Yea I have realized this since I started looking, I have only found a few and the ones I have found are either mint condition for 700-1000 or they are pretty far gone

Jeremy,  Is this what you are looking for?

Sorry I'm not sure what your talking about there is no link or pic

OK the discussion post is not doing what I want it to do  Send me your email address and I'll send the picture that way  I am at - pat.westphal@gmail.com

Jeremy,

The pic is there but as an attachment. I have attached as an image here.

Patrick,

There is a button to attach images directly to the post.

Kurt,

Thanks for the help.  As usual, ignorance (mine in this case) is bliss.

Yes the passenger side lower bucket.... In the pic it is sitting on top of eyebrow
I was wrong, in the pic the one on the eye brow looks to be driver's side, I need the one on the other side sitting between the headlight trim and eyebrow

Just saw two  64 lower bumper buckets on eBay

Was 750 re- chromed  and the other new for 600

New has a superior chroming process back in the day

They were often found in the past for 300 - 400 but they are getting harder to find these days

Enjoy

Thank you.. I may have seen those but I will definitely check it out.. thanks alot

HI again,

I have turned off…

Map Light

I have a 63 Cadillac Series 62 convertible.  Can someone post a picture showing what the map light should look like?

Mine is a meta air vent like grating, which just does not look right for a map light.

Thanks in advance.  Rick

Upgrades for the Coupe de Ville

At long last I finally have power vent windows! I started collecting the parts 3 years ago. The one thing I could not find until recently is the 6 button driver's switch. Jason finally pulled one in and was more than generous with pricing. Thanks Jason! Installing the vent window motors was the easiest part of the project but many other tasks were spawned by this project.

  1. There is a hole in the door panels where the window crank was. I considered putting a hub cap emblem there…

center bolt size for crankshaft pulley

Posted by Dan Norris on December 6, 2021 at 3:13pm 2 Comments

I need to pull my distributor, and still have the cork in the end of the crankshaft. What is the bolt size needed to thread a bolt in there to be able to turn the motor over with a pull handle and socket to get it to TDC exactly before I pull the distributor out?

Dan
