my 64 Deville is early and I believe a 5 port A Module
I'm seeking guidance on the following
If in restoring the AC climate Control - What are the components other than the module that need to be
changed other than the module itself and the first vacuum hose that attaches to the module?

Dave, You will want a 1964 Cadillac Shop Manual and Tim Groves 1964 Cadillac Troubleshooting Manual as you go through the 64 AC/Heat Comfort Control system.
You can get shop manuals on eBay and elsewhere in original print, reprint, and CD/PDF file formats. I usually have extras to sell but other than one coming apart at the seams I am out ... so check eBay.
Here is Tim Groves' contact info:

David, the 64 climate control system is the first year design, and a challenge to repair. I do carry the troubleshooting book by Tim Groves. The book is 45.00 plus shipping.
There is a circuit board in the climate control head that will probably need to be repaired, a power servo that will most likely need to be repaired.
If you want my advise, just replace the entire system with a 63 Cadillac system. It bolts right into place and will heat and cool the car just fine with a whole lot less of a headache.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
