It is with sadness that I have just read that Kurt Fowler passed away on June 19. I had the pleasure of meeting Kurt at the 2013 Boston GN and featuring his 63 Park Avenue in our 63/64 Chapter newsletter later that year. Kurt had served as President of the Central Plains region and was co-owner of Autotech Collision and Service in Wichita, Kansas. There is a message regarding Kurt's passing on the Autotech site at http://autotechcs.com/index.html Kurt was a super nice guy and will miss him as a friend and fellow Cadillac enthusiast.
You can see his featured 1963 Park Avenue and cover story in the November 2013 newsletter at this link:

Prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.
I met Kurt a few times at the Grand Nationals. I think the first time was 2013 in Boston. Super nice guy, and huge loss to the Cadillac community.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
