If anyone here is familiar with the show "Bitchin' Rides" they started work on a '64 Eldo on the episode that aired last night (12/5). I really like the show and they build some amazing custom $$$$ cars.
They didn't do nearly as much custom work on the Caddy as they normally do. Of course that means that the styling needs no improvement, right? It did get an LS engine and an interesting coil-over/hydraulic suspension that allowed adjustment to the ride height through hydraulics and not air ride.
Lots of footage of the car being disassenbled and quite a few shots of various components that many here will recognize. The body went onto a rotisserie for paint. The quality of the paint and bodywork is amazing. They did not finish the work and the car was put away at the end of the episode to be finished later.
It aired on Motor Trend Network and I am sure it will be rerun if anyone wants to take a look.
