hi
you need to give more info here.    what condition are you looking to pick up?  any specifics on options or colors?
this will really help to narrow down your hunt.

hi

with A / C

any color

engine or transmission to be rebuilt

how much do you want to spend.

A cheap shitter, will be a massive and costly rebuild.

A decent car to start with, is a much better option, giving a solid platform to begin with, but still costly.

We have a list of our year Cadillacs  for sale on this site

Current listing on eBay ( Jason )—will give you a rough idea about pricing

Prices vary greatly based on condition as condition is from soup to nuts after all these years of being around

Buy one in the best condition you can afford would be my best advice  as getting out and driving these cars is what it’s all about  and is the real joy in owning them

Once restored to a reliable state of affairs they are an easy Antique  Car to own unlike muscle  or power cars that can break there power trains from hard use over time

Stay Safe

Hello, I have a 64 Deville convertible. I have owned it since 1976. It has A/C, power steering, power brakes, power bench seats, power antenna, and all power windows including the vent windows. I am pretty sure it has an AM/FM radio as i don't recall. It has been in storage and haven't seen it in awhile. Now for the good, The motor has been 90% rebuilt everything is new or rebuilt except for pistons as it didn't need them at the time. Rebuilt heavy duty starter, body in good shape. Not sure of the miles on car. Still have many new parts to be installed such as inner fender and bumper water/dirt guards, a dual exhaust, new power steering pump and new under the hood wiring harnesses, upgraded amp chromed alternator and many extra parts. the frame is perfect as it does not sag in the middle of the car(which i have never seen anyone mention on this site) Car in 95% complete if not 100%.  Now for the bad. The floor pans need to be replaced, i have bought all N. O.S. panels(not installed). The bumpers are all good, front ones not rusted through. One of the brake lines popped on it's last move and the convertible top needs replaced. I do not what works and what does not. I am selling it because i don't have to funds to continue restoration and getting up there in age. Over 7,500 in it and I would like to get an offer close to that. Of course the car would be sold as is. I just looked at the title and when i bought it, it says 40,000 miles and I haven't driven it much at all. The mileage is original. Pictures to follow once my kid gets over there with me to take pictures. The car was originally white outside and red inside, but someone did a horrible job on trying to paint it red outside. Hope that's enough information until i can get pictures posted.  John

Hello I've been restoring a 63 for way to many years. Down to almost done, but have issue with trans linkage, when column in park shift rod 2 inches short. everything original. been trying to find picture of manual rod hooked up from under car to see position of linkage. was wondering if anybody has access for pictures. I wanted to see if my manual linkage is bent  wrong out of the trans if somebody dropped the trans or something. Doesn't make sense why it doesn't work. Thanks for any input…

I was successful in getting a vehicle from the New York contact I talked about at the last club meeting. I am still trying to figure out how to post a picture of the vehicle that is tied with this comment so if you see a random picture of a black convertible in a yard, that's me haha.  …

Torque converter grab when idling in Drive

Posted by Cliff Johnston on June 14, 2021 at 8:47pm 2 Comments

Hi Everyone, been quite a while since i have been on here.

I have had an issue with the idle on my 64 Coupe Deville ever since i have had it.

With the Idle set high enough that it is smooth, but still a nice idle, the RPM seems only slightly too high for the stall of the Torque Converter. And therefore it tends to sit there and grab and lunge a bit. So until now, i have been putting the car in Neutral at the lights to stop this happening.

I've had the car dyno tuned and…

Can you help? Driveshaft Question....

Posted by Chris on May 30, 2021 at 8:55am 1 Comment

Hello!

Newbie to the group here - we have already found tons of invaluable information on the board, so thanks! We are restoring a 1963 Series 62 Convertible. We are wondering if anyone knows of a source to buy the propellor yoke flange (that bolts to the pinion flange) for the driveshaft? One of our ears partially broke off. Not sure if we can buy just the yoke flange as an aftermarket part, or if it has to be rebuilt by a welder/fab guy? Maybe a salvage yard for a source? Again, any…
