Just took a pic of my front brakes.

Are you saying that there should be some washer ?

where? Between those two brackets that caliper is mounted to?

So washer between the caliper and the bracket that’s it’s mounted to, huh?

As far as I remember I had no washers in the kit...

I’ll hve to call them again, damnit

I've installed aftermarket disc brakes before and I needed to adjust (shim) the distance to the rotor. Your pads should be slightly touching the rotor when adjusted properly.

When you bled the system and after the master cylinder rebuild are you 100% positive you got out all the air? The instructions for new master cylinder is to bench bleed it. It takes forever to get all the air out of a master cylinder. I've done several and they were all the same.

What's up Tony? I hope your holding the fort for the rest of the crew.

Yes, i did bench bled the MC and it did take me a while to get the air out of it.

i think I need to me adjusted/shimmed like you did because sometimes I feel and hear like the pad has too much room over there... we will see!

just called the company so they can verify the kit they sold me... life...

Hey Clovis

1963 Eldorado convertible boot

Posted by Les Eastling on February 27, 2020 at 10:33am 1 Comment

I need a used convertible boot for a 63 Cadillac convertible - condition or color is not an issue since it will be used as a pattern for making a new one. One from either a 62 series convertible or an Eldorado would work. I know I am searching for hen's teeth here... but you never know unless you ask!
