I am moving to a new home and haven't any room for two 64's, so i'm looking to get rid of them. They are both basket cases IMO, one is a 62 coupe and the other is an Eldorado. I have the title for the eldo, but not the coupe. rebuilt engine in the eldo donated by the coupe, and all the eldorado only parts are in my possession except the horn. both are some what disassembled but mostly complete. If no one wants them i'll strip off the good bits and send them to the crusher.
They are located in NJ, just east of Phila. if anyone is interested, lmk. I know i didn't post pics but i can get them.

I might be interested in the Series 62 Coupe if it is still available around early to mid May and the price is right. Right now I am still parting out #58 and into crunch mode on exterior of house addition. I would have to be able to roll up with a car hauler, pull a rolling car up on the the deck and drive away (i.e. needs an undercarriage and some wheels).
the coupe will definitely be soup cans by May, so i'm not interested.
the price for both cars together is 4500, with the rebuilt motor included. If i get no offers, i'll crush the coupe and use the parts to throw the eldo together quickly.

I found a diagram that illustrates the main factor in determining a spark plug heat range that I was trying to describe to you during the chapter get together.
Here it is:
The main factor is the length of the ceramic insulator from the middle of the spark plug to the tip (where the spark happens)
The insulator…

Good Morning all!
I took the 64 into the shop to have some adjustments completed and in the process decided to have the lower ball joints replaced as was recommended the last time I had it in. I ordered the parts and came into the shop. They quoted me nearly $500 to replace those lower ball joints requiring nearly 4hrs of labor. Now this is a reputable shop and they know me by name here and they will continue to get my business. I am just questioning what on earth is…
