Congrats on your Grand Nationals first place win and your  new Vice President status
Why am I sure ——you will be president one day  very soon ?

The trophy  you won is very pretty one

Like that you lowered the price to be joining the CLC to increase membership ( don’t ask - not my thing !)

You do very nice things for the organizations you are a part of and they are blessed by your knowledge and passion

Looking forward —-one day to your 64 CDV stealing the show in your class

This community is so very based on who you are and what you add to this great Cadillac place for all here

Rock on !    You Classic Antique Cadillac — NUT !!

Needless to say it was a fun & rewarding Grand National. I was chuffed to win 1st Place Primary with Brutus my 2002 Escalade EXT. The plan is to drive the 2013 EXT to Albuquerque next year for the 2023 GN and enter it in Touring as it is not eligible for Primary level judging until it is 20 ... which will be 2033!  The 2024 GN in Gettysburg PA should be the year Dino, the 64 graces its first Grand National.

Back to Brutus, I can retire him from judging at this point as we have the elusive 1st place primary, and the only way I would get it to Senior Crown or Senior Wreath level would be to remove my Rims and Grill and the few other aftermarket items I had installed at Thompson Cadillac when I bought it ... and that ain't happening.

Brutus has served me well, and am proud to know that I took a car that I put 140K hard miles on, drove it back and forth to work, hauled enough lumber to build a house and 3 dozen parts car, and is now a Grand National Winner.

Brutus has earned his first class day in the Sun

A wonderful story and owner

Congratulations Jason!  That's a workhorse that has helped many fellow enthusiasts and worthy of an award for that alone.

Fuel Pump Failure

Posted by Jon Shields on August 6, 2022 at 6:48am 3 Comments

I'm located in Melbourne, Australia and my 64 sedan de ville is stuck in the garage due to failed mechanical fuel pump. The first after market mechanical fuel pump lasted a few years before it failed & left me stranded 5 hours from home. A hire car and tow got us home. On inspection, I noticed a valve not seated within the housing. I was optimistic, pressed it into place and assumed the pump was good to go. But alas, no. From what I can now determine, the diaphragm pushrod…

Posted by Russell L Parr on April 1, 2022 at 9:15pm 6 Comments

I need to replace the bulbs for the speedometer cluster in my instrument panel..

Before I open up the dash, I want to have the necessary bulbs on hand.

Can someone help me determine what bulbs I need, the number of bulbs I need,  and where to purchase them?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
