Should have come here first.  Could have had you on a waiting list.  Have you tried Desert Valley Auto Parts, in Phoenix and Casa Grande Arizona?

Yeah I know, but I ordered the bumpers two years ago from my body shop and that's the only part still! Missing. I'll give them a try though. Thank you

Take the bumper ends to a chrome shop and see if they can be saved. They're becoming almost impossible to find intact.

The bumper buckets are getting more and more difficult to locate as time moves on
Last time I saw them for sale they were 400-500 dollars each
That was about 6 months ago
Show up on eBay sometimes
Fix yours if you can
FYI, desert valley has none at this time. :-( there are a couple on what but you never know what your buying. Any more info anyone has is greatly appreciated. I would give a extra to anyone who needs the quick cash

Tyler there is a left front bumper end listed currently on ebay, buy it now for $300.00 or best offer.  It will cost around $150.00 or so to have it rechromed depending on how much labor charges they add.

Anyone ever hear of Cadillac King ? He is saying he has a set of bumper ends! just wondering has anyone ever bought anything from him before?

No, but I would e-mail them asking for photos of the bumper ends and not pay for them without seeing the photos first.  Pay with a credit card and not a check, if parts you receive are not correct as described ask to return them if any problems dispute through your credit card company.  Don't ask for photos over the phone as you can not prove that you asked for them.   I've ordered a lot of items from people I've never done business with before  and have rarely been disappointed. But best to have documentation of all conversations.  Good Luck

I have 2 left and 1 right side bumper buckets for  1964 Cadillacs in good condition, see pics attached

Do you still have the pass side (right) lower bucket and how much?

I have one right side lower bucket in good condition, see pics in prior reply. email me at hdp10@yahoo dot com for more info and pricing, thanks

Hello I've been restoring a 63 for way to many years. Down to almost done, but have issue with trans linkage, when column in park shift rod 2 inches short. everything original. been trying to find picture of manual rod hooked up from under car to see position of linkage. was wondering if anybody has access for pictures. I wanted to see if my manual linkage is bent  wrong out of the trans if somebody dropped the trans or something. Doesn't make sense why it doesn't work. Thanks for any input…

Torque converter grab when idling in Drive

Posted by Cliff Johnston on June 14, 2021 at 8:47pm 2 Comments

Hi Everyone, been quite a while since i have been on here.

I have had an issue with the idle on my 64 Coupe Deville ever since i have had it.

With the Idle set high enough that it is smooth, but still a nice idle, the RPM seems only slightly too high for the stall of the Torque Converter. And therefore it tends to sit there and grab and lunge a bit. So until now, i have been putting the car in Neutral at the lights to stop this happening.

I've had the car dyno tuned and…

Can you help? Driveshaft Question....

Posted by Chris on May 30, 2021 at 8:55am 1 Comment

Newbie to the group here - we have already found tons of invaluable information on the board, so thanks! We are restoring a 1963 Series 62 Convertible. We are wondering if anyone knows of a source to buy the propellor yoke flange (that bolts to the pinion flange) for the driveshaft? One of our ears partially broke off. Not sure if we can buy just the yoke flange as an aftermarket part, or if it has to be rebuilt by a welder/fab guy? Maybe a salvage yard for a source? Again, any…
