My 6year restoration
Hello all, I’ve been restoring my 63 for about 6 years now and I’m finally on the home stretch. I just wants to take a moment to thank you all for the parts and knowledge over the years. You all have been tremendous help and I’m forever grateful. This weekend we will be taking her for a spin for the first time and I couldn’t be more excited. I didn’t do the best at documentation but I threw together a super short video with photos I look along the way. Special thanks to jason and Russ for all of the random parts and pieces I had you guys cut off your parts cars to get this thing to where it is today. Great job! It looks like you had a lot of rust to deal with. Nice work. What engine is that? It kinda looks like the 5.3L in my Silverado. That car is lucky to have you.as an owner. I hope it brings you much joy now that you're getting it back on the road.

Your restoration abilities and auto talents are on a very high scale with the work you have done here
The Cadillac looks just amazing as your blood sweat tear and expense to get what you want out of this project comes shinning thru
I have admired your metal restoration work from the start of your project as that is something that I wish I could do but will never happen at this point in my life
A special man with special talents and a special Cadillac that he restored by hand for himself
A lot of work and passion in this ride to be very proud of

Chris, I remember you posting photos early on and thinking to myself, there surely are better restoration candidates out there. Kudos to you for doing the work and literally saving one from the scrapper. I would think it must be incredibly rewarding to complete a project of this magnitude.

Good Morning all!
I took the 64 into the shop to have some adjustments completed and in the process decided to have the lower ball joints replaced as was recommended the last time I had it in. I ordered the parts and came into the shop. They quoted me nearly $500 to replace those lower ball joints requiring nearly 4hrs of labor.
