I now sell the polyurethane bushings and steel adaptor for the rear lower control arms. 58-64 Cadillacs.
You need this to solve a vibration in the driveline. The problem is the rear bushing in the rear lower control arm. The bushing flexes from the spring pushing down on the control arm. Even the new China bushings flex after a year.
The flexing causes the pinion angle to change resulting in a drive shaft vibration. The pinion angle flex gets worse under acceleration.
The new polyurethane does not flex, so the problem is solved. I have this in my own 63 and it solved a vibration I was chasing for a few years.
The steel adaptor goes in place of the old original bushing, and the poly bushings go into the steel adaptor.

These new bushings are a very very important step in the right direction to be getting —- our stock —rear control arm bushing —-replaced with a more reliable part than has been available to our communities for a lgood number of years 

 Finally a solution to keep the stock control arms working as they should for more than  600 miles after replacement which was the only other short lived option for too long 
This is a serious break thru for the community

How long and how many miles— do you currently have on the bushings that Russ now has available ? 

The issues with these bushings is there longevity or lack of it in the past — which we only  know and learn by  repair trail and error with new available  replacement parts for our great Cadillacs 
We need to know what works and what does not for restoration  replacement parts as stock  bushings are no longer available 

Feed back  and communication here is the only way we know the scoop on replacement parts  that work that are available in 2022 for our 63-64 Cadillacs to keep them rolling 

Solving  reliable replacement  out of stock part issues is one hell of a big deal to me and this community 

Getting it done with some feedback from our fellow Cadillac friends is how this  kind of a thing will get repaired once and fix the issue as it should for the length of time it should 

These problems getting solved that have not had any solution for a few years on this site is very very exciting to me and makes me have hope for the future performance  of my 64 convert

I installed them about 2 years ago and I think I’ve put about 1000 miles on them.  The look as good as the day they were installed.  One good thing about them is once the sleeve is installed the bushing replacement is easy if it ever has to be done in the future, and the replacement is readily available.

I'm located in Melbourne, Australia and my 64 sedan de ville is stuck in the garage due to failed mechanical fuel pump. The first after market mechanical fuel pump lasted a few years before it failed & left me stranded 5 hours from home. A hire car and tow got us home.
