<p>It seems like the gaps got bigger as time went on. Comparing a 70’s Cadillac with a 63/64 shows you how much better the fit and finish and tolerances were on the older Cads.</p>
<p>The gaps got huge in the 70’s and the quality of everything took a dump.</p>
<p>I should know after owning a 72 Sedan Deville.</p>
