The 64 - 429 Cadillac gas engine —-is a special unique torque monster ! !

The 64 Cadillac gas engine is a torque monster —with 480 ft lbs of toque at 3000 RPMs 

Out of curiosity I looked up my 409 dual quad  425 HP  race engines   specs and it has only 425 ft lbs of torque at 4200 RPMs 

Torque is that feeling of power that you feel in the seat of your pants when rolling off a stop light and a very big part of the joyful driving experience of owning a 64 429 engine in our very fine year Cadillacs 

Even the larger cubic inch engines that Cadillac put into its newer car ( up to 500 cu in ) do not have these  kind of torque numbers 

TORQUE is an addictive driving experience I have been told—  and a very big part of the exceptional driving experience that our year Cadillacs afford there very lucky owners 

That driving experience in addition to  the very exceptional  engineering —materials used  -luxury creature comforts and iconic looks ( the fined thing ) make these Cadillacs that we own on this site something very very special that we have the good fortune to be experiencing every time we get behind the wheel of these very exciting Cadillacs 

These  very high torque numbers —are a big part of the  very enjoyable  unique driving experience our very special  Cadillacs afford us as owners of these fine machines in our  sites years 
Driving my 64 429 has always been a very special experience and the unique torgue the engine produces is a ——BIG PART of that experience - making it very special
