Pablo , according to the info in the Help section  under Engine  Unit  Decoding , that block was intended for Series 62 coupes and sedans  W/O air conditioning, but I would think you could just swap over your thermostat ass'y ,etc  for A/C if you need to. Jason or Russ would know for sure HTH..

As Robert indicated that engine is from a series 62. The biggest issue is it will have the Hydramatic crankshaft with the 3 3/16" raised mounting end for the Hydramatic drive plate. You need the 1964 429 with the Turbo Hydramatic crank with the 3" raised mounting area for the flexplate. If you get this engine you have 2 options.. swap cranks or have your flex plate enlarged to 3 3/16" to match the raised crank end. If you have it enlarged it has to be EXACT... any off center or looseness means it will sooner or later tear out... probably sooner from what I have observed over the years.

Dagnammit, I forgot about the different crankshafts  used in 64. Seems like I always forget something when  giving advice , much thanks Jason.

Hey, You nailed the engine unit #, and I filled in the blanks. Teamwork!

Thank you Jason, but what do you mean 1964 49 , I’m looking at the chart and there is no 49 on the prefix.

Missed a digit.. meant 429.  The engine size. Edited and corrected. Just to add have the seller pop down to bottom left of engine block and give you the VIN # and you can tell exactly which series 62 this came out of.
