Dave, your door jam switch may have 2 or 3 wires, if 2 they should be black/white and a black wire. A third wire should be red The first thing to try is to put a test light to each end of the light socket to see if you have power (should have power without the key on) If no power, check the body feed fuse. If you have power, pop the door jam switch out and touch the black/white wire to a known ground. Let me know the results.
