I just installed some correct for 1964 spring ring terminal cables for my battery and thought some fresh pictures were in order.

Battery is of course from Restoration Battery (www.restorationbattery.com) listed on our parts supplier page - www.parts.6364cadillac.com
I'll spill the beans on my other source (you might be surprised what I ended up using) in the next newsletter.
Jimmy, This was a quick relatively easy upgraded. There is a place called Lectric Limited listed in our parts supplier page that was highly recommended and got no where with the clueless lady on the phone this Saturday (...are they really known for making custom cables..I must have had the wrong company on the horn.....), but was able to match something within a 1/2" of specs for both negative and positive cable. Only thing is I had to paint/dye the positive alternator lead black (it was brown) and I just went through the process tonight of adding that short braided ground strap from bottom of negative able to the firewall where it mounts via the 3/8" hex head screw to the radiator support. I had to pry the tangs apart at the bottom of the negative cable and attached negative braid strap I had removed from an original cable and cleaned up. It turned out really nice.
I just installed new spring-ring terminal cables and had the battery out and cleaned everything up and wanted to get some new pictures in. These look so much better than the later model bolt terminal cables and are really heavy duty! I found a great source the correct length and my write something up regarding these in the September Newsletter.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
