fin height?

Posted on April 4, 2015 at 10:50pm 2 Comments

I recently installed new rear springs in my 64CDV, and it now sits way too high. Can anyone tell me what the recommended height should be? I've been measuring to the top of the fins and it's about 39.375" off the floor. I sure there's a spec out there.

Thanks,

Brent

I need to replace the bulbs for the speedometer cluster in my instrument panel..

Before I open up the dash, I want to have the necessary bulbs on hand.

Can someone help me determine what bulbs I need, the number of bulbs I need,  and where to purchase them?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Temperature gauge not working properly

Posted by SK on March 23, 2022 at 2:43pm 2 Comments

The temperature gauge of my 63 Eldorado does not work properly.

It goes slowly all the way up and stays there, while the true temperature is around 155-160 F (water in the radiator and/or the top of the thermostat housing).

Where should I start to solve the problem? The gauge itself, the temperature sensor, or the wiring? Or something else? The sensor is a new (aftermarket part)…
