Took the 63 Caddy to a local event last weekend a a guy comes up to me and says he has a 63 I might be interested in. It was a running car he bought and was going to do something with but a couple weeks ago a wind storm blew a tree over and it fell across the back fins and broke the back glass. He wants to sell it as a parts car to someone rather than crushing it. I found a local guy that has a back glass but I need to find someone who has a parts car I can get a section of the rear fins from.… Continue
Trunk hinge issue

Been having an issue with my trunk lately. The drivers side has been slowly moving rearward. I adjusted it a couple times and got it back where it should be. But the last time I adjusted it I was at the limit of the slotted holes. This weekend I took it to a two day event and was opening the trunk more than usual. It got so bad it wouldn't latch. I'm hoping some of you are into more than one era of Cadillacs like me. I also have a 56 CDV that I'm working on. Motor is at the machine shop and I found out yesterday that one head is damaged beyond repair. I need one head casting #1465406-7 or a pair of later heads. I would even consider a later 390 motor from 61-62. If anyone can help out or knows someone who can , please let me know.
Side moulding clips

63 6 window sedan de Ville....I need to find some side moulding clips so I can put the last two pieces of side trim back on. The remains of the ones that are on it look to be the universal type. Anyone have a picture of the original GM clips?

Good Morning all!
I took the 64 into the shop to have some adjustments completed and in the process decided to have the lower ball joints replaced as was recommended the last time I had it in. I ordered the parts and came into the shop. They quoted me nearly $500 to replace those lower ball joints requiring nearly 4hrs of labor.
