I have a 1963 convertible that needs a new top.  I just so happen to have a brand new top in the box from a 1964 Impala that I sold.  The part number reads the same in the catalog for Electron Tops.  Any one know if this is true or not?My questions is... has anyone here tried to tackle this job themselves?  I have done seat cover replacement and a few other upholstery things, but never messed with a top.  Is it better to leave it to the professionals? Thanks!DanSee More

Dash removal

Posted by Jake Mickley on October 9, 2019 at 12:06am 9 Comments

Hello everyone,

On a 63 CDV, if a guy wanted to remove the entire dash to get all the metal painted, and do some other things behind there, how would he go about doing that?  I checked here and the shop manual, but can't find a complete guide.

As always, and help or direction is appreciated.  Thanks!
