1963 trunk latch pin

I have a coupe deville and my trunk driver side came off looks like the pin came out of the latch I got pin and trunk out but for the love of me cant figure how the pin goes bk in came someone please…Continue

"The tab and pin are pointed to by yellow pin. Install the hinges and pin with the trunk and torsion bars off.  See orange arrow pointing to tab that holds trunk hinge pin in place:"

"I am trying to put the line back in and cant seem to line up the holes, do I need to have trunk on ,because I took trunk off to manage bracket better but cant seem to slide pin in?"

"The pin goes from the inside toward the outside as seen in picture below. There is a large metal tab that bends over to hold it in place. To remove you have to pry the tab out with a large screwdriver or wedge, and when installing the tab be sure to…"

Rear Side Window Stainless Sill Removal
